Along the old coast road to Olbia, there are several Nuraghic settlements. The city of Olbia ( 7 km from the village ), call aero - port and today an important tourist and commercial center, has several relics from Phoenician and Roman times, from the port to the churches.

Before Nodu Pianu, the magnificent and wild island of Tavolara with its granite massif, easily accessible from Porto San Paolo, a few kilometers south of Olbia. From Nodu Pianu, always towards South, you can reach in less than half an hour the crystalline beaches of Capo Coda Cavallo, Porto Istana, San Teodoro. The immediate hinterland offers, within a few dozen kilometers from Nodu Pianu, evocative destination: San Pantaleo, Arzachena, the archaeological site of the Tomb of the Giants, the ethnographic museum of Luras and the museum of banditry Aggius .
